Weather can be unpredictable

This was a few years back, I think in late March, 1995 or 1996.

Four of us planned a hike for the day, wanting to go to Willow Hole. When we got to the upper parts of the (then) Monument, and saw all this snow, we changed plans and headed to Lost Palms Oasis.
